In the heart of the Marais, the Musée Picasso-Paris occupies the Hôtel Salé, a 17th-century mansion with a sculpted grand staircase, a half-moon courtyard and furniture by Diego Giacometti. It is an exceptional setting in which to discover one of the most influential artists of modern art.

The collection comes from the donation made by Picasso’s heirs: major works from every period of his career, which the artist kept in his studios until his death, together with more than 200,000 archive items. Your licensed guide places them in context and connects the man, the studio and the work.
